2D Animator (Freelance)

Project: Baby Bot’s Backyard Tales

Contract duration: April – August 2025

Software requirement: Adobe Animate

Location: Remote (Must be available in Madrid time zone CET)

About the Role:

We are looking for 2D Mid and Senior Animators to support our team for Baby Bot’s Backyard Tales, an engaging educational animated series to help parents raise amazing children. If you have a passion for high-quality animation, strong character performance skills, and experience working in Adobe Animate, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Animate characters and props in Adobe Animate, following the established style of Lingokids and Baby Bot’s Backyard Tales and the supervision of the Animation Supervisor.
• Ensure smooth and expressive character animation, bringing life and personality to each scene.
• Collaborate closely with the Animation team and Director to maintain quality and consistency.
• Work efficiently within the production schedule, meeting deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a 2D Animator (Mid or Senior level).
• Proficiency in Adobe Animate – must be comfortable with cut-out animation techniques.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and posing.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) – required for communication with the team.
• Must be able to work within the Madrid time zone (CET) to ensure smooth collaboration.
• Must submit a reel showcasing your work, preferably from previous productions where Adobe Animate was used.

Nice to have:

• Spanish language skills (not required but a plus).
• Experience animating for children's content.
• Background in working on narrative-driven projects.
