2D Animator- remote

We are seeking a 2D Animator who will be working closely with the Game Producer and the Art Director. 2D Animator will develop high quality sprites, kinetic, polished visual effects, and rig 2D for props/character to create epic animations.

Responsibilities

• Animate any given 2D assets (characters/symbols/FX/logo/...) – working closely with the Static Artists to facilitate proper technical exchange of assets, workable into functional animations.
• Create animation for real time game assets – including visual effects, animated props, animated characters (rigged/meshed).
• Prototype animation for upcoming games (block-out). Ability to work with placeholders.
• Work closely with the cross-compartment production team; helping developers understand the animation timings and flow for correct implementation, communicating with 2D Artists to receive clean, functional components for animation.

Requirements

Nice To Have

• Experience working with Slot Video games.
• Experience with 3D software (Blender/Maya/3DS).
• Experience with engines (Unity, Unreal,...).

Must Have

• Strong knowledge of traditional and digital animation.
• Able to animate in SPINE. After Effect or similar tool expertise.
• Some degree of 2D assets capability – creation of minor sprites or components for animations without relying on 2D Artist contribution.
• Used to multi-platform constraints (Tablet/smartphone/desktop).
• Willing to learn any required engine for our upcoming games.
• Fluent in English.
