Job Summary
As a 2D-Motion Design Intern, you will be a crucial support to the Creative team, bringing a deep understanding of how screen-based content interacts with physical objects in novel ways. Your role involves concepting and ideation with a digital perspective, art directing to bring brand character to life across interactive touchpoints, and working with creative teams to communicate the role of digital content in physical installations. You will also collaborate with internal and external animators, programmers, and 2D artists, and produce production-ready designs by following design systems and championing best practices.
Must Have
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design or 2D Animation
- Good motion design skills (2D) in a wide range of styles
- Creative thinker and problem solver
- Can take a concept and interpret it into motion design that meets clients’ goals and aligns with campaign strategy
- Ability to express creative ideas through mockups, mood boards, style frames, and motion prototypes
- Prototype and express design/motion approach across 2D animation, interaction design, and visual effects
- Prior experience of working in interdisciplinary teams for the creation of engaging and interactive digital storytelling
- Familiarity or proficiency with Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects), Blender, or similar software
- Personal interest in new technologies, software, and experimental design
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Available for a 6-month internship (hybrid, full-time and in-office)
Good to Have
- Experience working in real-time workflows
- Prior internship or work experience in a similar role would be an advantage

Job Responsibilities
- Concepting and Ideation - Bring a digital point of view and eye to early-phase concepts.
- Art Direction - Ability to bring brand character and aesthetics to life in an on-brand way across various interactive touchpoints.
- Visual and Motion Design Reference - Work with creative teams during conception and pre-production phases to communicate to clients the role that digital content will have in a physical installation.
- Content Team Collaboration - Work with internal and external animators, programmers and 2D artists to bring a vision to life. Experience working in real-time workflows is a bonus.
- Asset Production - Follow design systems and champion best practices to produce production-ready designs.
Experience Needed / Our Requirements
