Job Description
Sperasoft seeks an experienced 2D Character Artist (stylized) to contribute to a AAA+ game project. Responsibilities include creating character assets to studio standards, collaborating with Lead Artists on timely completion, mentoring junior artists, and contributing to a positive team environment. The ideal candidate possesses advanced knowledge of design, lighting, coloring, anatomy, Photoshop, and 3D tools. Strong conceptualization, sketching/illustration skills, and the ability to receive feedback constructively are essential. The role involves creating characters, creatures, clothing, and accessories with a high degree of detail and visual excellence.
Must Have:
- Advanced knowledge of design, lighting, coloring, anatomy
- Proficiency in Photoshop and some 3D tools
- Ability to create functional designs and concepts in any style
- Excellent sketching/illustration skills; speed painting

Description
Sperasoft is hiring an experienced 2D artist who will strengthen our team on an AAA+ game project.
As a 2D Character Artist you will apply your artistic skills and attention to detail to the overall visual excellence of the game. Your ability to bring characters to life through designs, expressive poses, and attention to details will resonate with players and enhance their gaming experience.
We are looking for an individual who has a passion for creating concepts of humans, creatures, clothing and accessories of the highest standard.
Responsibilities
- Create character assets matching project and studio standards.
- Work with Lead Artists to ensure timely completion of game assets
- Coordinate with Senior and/or Lead Artists with mentoring Junior 2D Artists as well as sharing best project practices with them
- Contribute to the team-oriented environment
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of design, lighting, coloring, anatomy
- Ability to create functional design
- Advanced knowledge of Photoshop as well as some knowledge of 3D tools and pipeline
- Ability to paint or concept in any style
- Ability to concept with a high degree of ideation utilizing techniques that enhance speed and revision work
- Advanced knowledge of sketching/ illustration/speed-painting, and ability to concept characters
- Ability to receive constructive feedback
- Self-motivation, good communication skills, and a great team-player attitude
