Flying Bark Productions is a dynamic and innovative animation studio dedicated to pushing the boundaries of character animation and storytelling. We are working on exciting projects such as Avatar: The Last Airbender feature film, Netflix's Ghostbusters animated series and Stranger Things animated series, as well as our production Tales From Outer Suburbia by Shaun Tan.
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Recruiter (freelance/temporary collaboration) to support our team in shaping the talent pipeline for our productions. Reporting to the HR and Recruitment Manager, this role will provide specialist recruitment support on specific positions during peak production needs, rather than as an ongoing, continuous contract.
We are seeking someone with extensive experience in the 3D animation sector and a solid, established network of candidates, able to respond quickly and effectively when recruitment demands arise. This experience will be key to anticipating industry needs and connecting us with the right talent at the right time.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Work with Producers and the HR and Recruitment Manager to support production resourcing of talent;
- Maintain a wide network of industry contacts, and be aware of the movements of potential key talent as much as possible;
- Assist with the release of engaging recruitment ads, ensuring they are in line with the Company brand guidelines;
- Shortlist candidates and send to the relevant Producers/Supervisors for review;
- Organise interviews and participate as required;
- Follow up with candidates including sending rejection and/or offer letters;
- Assist Producers in negotiating contract terms;
- Update records in BambooHR ATS;
And all other services as reasonably required by the Production Company.
Skillset:
- Attention to detail and strong organisation skills are a must for this role;
- Advanced Microsoft Office and GSuite skills;
- Ability to handle confidential and commercially sensitive documents with utmost discretion;
- Flexibility and able to work in an environment with shifting priorities and demands;
- Ability to manage a diverse workload and be on top of deadlines;
- A strong passion for all things children’s animation and the film/TV production industry.
