Job Responsibilities

1. Development area, business overview, and role/position within R&D of the affiliated organization

Advanced development of vehicle dynamics (handling stability, ride comfort).

  • Vehicle dynamics target setting (20%)
  • Consideration of measures to achieve vehicle dynamics targets (60%)
  • Development of suspension, steering, tires, seats, body, powertrain, etc.
  • Evaluation of vehicle dynamics target achievement (20%)

Team structure consists of a Department Manager, Section Manager, Team Leader, and Staff. Currently, there are approximately 12 staff members and team leaders. Difficult challenges are solved with advice and support across teams. Involved departments include experimental evaluation departments, chassis/body/seat parts design departments, etc., covering a wide range, so you will gain broad knowledge by involving many people in development.

MUST (Required Qualifications)

  • Graduated from a science/engineering faculty at a university.
  • Possess basic knowledge of mechanical engineering, vibration engineering, or vehicle dynamics theory (2-wheel model).
  • Interest in driving performance.
  • TOEIC: 600 points or higher.

WANT (Desired Qualifications)

  • Practical experience in development and research at an automobile company or related parts company (design, CAE, or experiment).
  • Practical experience with analysis software such as Matlab, Simulink, Carsim, Amesim, Nastran, ADAMS.
