Job Summary
This role involves developing and validating software for Intel GPUs, covering the entire stack from firmware and device drivers to APIs and the application layer. Responsibilities also include creating tools, infrastructure, and technologies necessary for the development, profiling, optimization, and productization of Intel GPUs or graphics/GPGPU software solutions.
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience working in large scale software product development teams and projects
- 2+ years of experience in C programming
- Understanding of Linux Operating system architecture and device driver model validation
- Understanding Linux Kernel Memory Management Test development for device drivers
- Basic understanding of Operating system architecture, device driver model and memory management, DRM open-source graphics
- Experience with device drivers' validation and debugging
- Experience with test code issue debugging and fixing
Good to Have
- Master's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of industry experience
- 2+ years of Linux DRM subsystem and graphics SW stack
- Familiarity with Linux kernel open-source contributions and practices
- Experience with Linux Kernel driver validation
- Experience in developing, reviewing, and implementing test plans
- Experience in test results analysis and test reporting
- Experience in bug tracking and assessment
- Experience in root cause analysis and debugging issues
- Experience in Bug Escape Analysis
