Job Summary
This role involves designing personalized AI behaviors for various in-game entities like animals, insects, NPCs, and vehicles based on project requirements. The AI Planner will continuously iterate on the underlying AI system, optimizing the AI configuration workflow. Additionally, the role requires deep involvement in urban planning, collaborating with the Lead Designer to create a humanistic ecosystem that aligns with the artistic style of cities and settlements within the game world.
Must Have
- Experience in open-world AI design, capable of systematically defining AI behaviors and translating expected experiences into system parameters.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine, with a deep understanding of state machines and behavior trees.
- Passion for games, in-depth experience with at least one open-world game, and a high pursuit of immersion in gameplay.
