Participate in core architecture investigation while working closely with Power architect; Select best design option for power metric performance optimization including but not limited to efficiency, power density, cost, reduced carbon footprint and scalability and reliability. Support development of the power supplies from prototype level to the mass-production:
Collaborate with multi-functional team on design concept and in some cases with power supply module vendor.
Support design simulation, calculations and analytical models for prediction of design concept outcome.
Support design Schematic and BOM and work with layout team for power supply layout.
Provide prototypes test and validation results; hands-on work in lab is a must.
Provide technical support for production issues debug and resolutions.
Be a leader in teamwork and open to learn new skills.
