Job Description

As an Acceleration Centre, Salesforce Specialist, you will join a team of problem solvers dedicated to protecting organizations from cyber threats. You will provide application security services, including code scanning and penetration testing, to enable secure application deployment. Utilizing a risk-based, "shift-left" approach, you'll engage early in the software development lifecycle. The Acceleration Centre focuses on maximizing value and delivering high-quality consulting services, leveraging the latest technologies and best practices to solve business issues and enhance operational efficiency for clients.
Must have:
  • Work in a team environment with people from multiple backgrounds and skill sets.
  • Work directly with various stakeholders including end-users with collecting requirements/feedback and integrating that into the system.
  • Maintain and enhance the data model, user interface, business logic, and security for custom applications.
  • Support enhancement and deployment of custom functionalities using Salesforce Apex and Visualforce on a bespoke force.com platform.
  • Estimate level of effort for activities and conduct post-implementation support activities (e.g, scope and impact management).
  • Maintain and enhance dashboards, user interface, business logic, and security for custom applications.
  • Support development activities, working closely under the supervision of the team leads.
  • Be a part of the Incident, Problem, Change and Release management processes as required.
  • Be assigned additional responsibilities such as working as a backup scrum master.
  • Obtain Security Clearance, which is mandatory for all staff engaged on these assignments.
  • Have an interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, and an openness to learning new tools.
  • Possess exceptional analytical capability and own initiatives, applying judgment to ask questions and assess issues.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration with internal and external teams.

Good to have:
  • Experience with building, customizing and maintaining cloud applications and / or cloud platforms (Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud and mobile platforms, Android and Apple)
  • Experience with virtual team collaboration applications (ex. MS Teams, Google Meet, Mural, Asana, Jamboard etc.)
  • Knowledge of ongoing integration and deployment support approaches and tools
  • Experience working with front end technologies (eg React, Backbone, etc)
  • Salesforce Certification such as Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer
  • Knowledge in combining Salesforce with external, 3rd party systems

Job Description & Summary

Our people in cybersecurity focus on protecting organisations from cyber threats through advanced technologies and strategies. They work to identify vulnerabilities, develop secure systems, and provide proactive solutions to safeguard sensitive data. Those in application security will be responsible for providing security services to development teams including code scanning, readiness testing, and penetration testing to enable application teams to build and deploy secure applications in Production. You will utilise a risk-based methodology and "shift-left" approach to engage early in the software development lifecycle. The Acceleration Centre (AC) is all about maximizing value, unlocking opportunities and creating a great experience for our people and clients. Using the latest technologies, leading processes and best practices, the AC is an important part of how we deliver high-quality tax, assurance and consulting services to our clients.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As an Acceleration Centre, Salesforce Specialist, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

  • As a requirement, Security Clearance is mandatory for all staff who will be engaged on these assignments.
