Netflix is looking for a Project Manager / Producer with deep knowledge and experience in accessible game design and development. The role reports into the head of inclusive game development, working directly with the production organization to ensure our portfolio of games are as accessible as possible, taking into account the different needs of our members.
The candidate will have a proven track record working on games that champion accessibility as well as experience collaborating across a range of cross-functional teams with the ability to influence and facilitate the execution of our game accessibility strategy across the external games portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Creating clear guidelines, best practices and resources to support our developers in their accessibility journey
- Build, maintain and operationalize accessibility guidelines and workflows to support the production organization
- Advice production teams across the external games organization on solutions that make our games playable for everyone
- Facilitate the execution of our game accessibility strategy and ensure the team are aware of the goals and priority
- Partnering cross-functionally to influence and embed inclusion and accessibility into strategies for Games sourcing, design, development and QA
- Ensuring the development teams get access to the right training and learning opportunities to improve their ability to make accessible and inclusive games
- 5+ years of experience working in production with a focus on accessibility
- Experience in game development environments across mobile and PC
- Experience leading through influence and inspiration, with the ability to use relationships to promote results
- Ability to present ideas and research in a way that makes it actionable and easily understandable for all audiences
- Ability to measure success and propose improvements
- Excellent communication with the ability to adaptability communication skills for a variety of audiences and demographics
- Understanding of the landscape and new inclusion, accessibility and representation developments in new media, tech, and the entertainment industry
