The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for executing regional/nation-wide sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with merchants in their territory. They will analyze consumer behavior, market insights, and trends to provide advice to merchants, prepare sales forecasts and budgets, and create reports. The role involves understanding merchant needs to increase transactions. The AE will work within a sales team focused on Gofood Merchants (restaurants).

About the Role

Account Executive (AE) is mainly responsible to execute Regional/Nation-Wide Sales strategy within their areas and also build & maintain relationships with the network of all merchants in their territory including regular visits upon assigned leads. They should understand what the merchant needs and provide advice upon it.
What Will You Do
  • Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; set transaction targets in areas like product mix,sales volume, market shares in their territory
  • Analyze consumer behavior, market insight, field situation, and market trend in their territory
  • Regular review leads merchants (i.e. monitor merchant growth, transfer merchants to new categories, competitor activity, etc.)
  • Provide advice to the merchant based on valid data analytics result in order to increase number of transaction
  • Create regular report to what's happened in their respective areas toward Regional/Nation-Wide company strategy
  • What Will You Need
  • 2 years relevant experience with preferable industries: top 5 FMCG / Telecommunication company;
  • Preferably has spent significant time (>1 year) in representative area and has strong network and knowledge about the region will be a plus;
  • Has existing relationship or able to bridge, develop and maintain good relationship with key partner;
  • Strong business sense and have good understanding of the markets, customers, and competitors;
  • Fact-based / number-oriented individual, who is comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
  • About the Team

    Account Executive (AE) will work as a sales team within a certain area. The sales team will be handling Gofood Merchants (restaurants). The main job for the sales team is to see what really happened on the ground as well as providing necessary advice to them in increasing transaction overtime. So if you like to talk with others while explore the foods around your area, this team will be suitable for you.
