  • Ability to hands on deliver training effectively, including planning, executing, and evaluating training programs.

About the Role

What You Will Do

  • Design and implement comprehensive training curricula specifically tailored for online drivers. This includes standard service training, safety training, and specialized modules that address the unique challenges faced by online drivers in the current market.
  • Ensure the successful execution of training programs, utilizing various teaching methods and materials to cultivate well-trained and reliable drivers. Monitor and evaluate training outcomes to guarantee that the drivers meet the company's quality standards.
  • Establish and enforce guidelines related to driver appearance and professionalism. Train drivers on the importance of appropriate attire, cleanliness, and overall presentation to enhance the company's image and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Conduct thorough analyses to identify problems associated with declining productivity among online drivers. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to understand the underlying causes and develop actionable strategies aimed at improving overall driver productivity.
  • Offer ongoing feedback and support to drivers throughout their training and initial working phases. Facilitate individualized coaching sessions and group workshops to address specific areas of improvement, thereby promoting driver engagement and retention.

What You Will Need

  • 8+ years of experience in training within the taxi industry, focusing on enhancing the skills and knowledge of drivers. Past experience of being a taxi or online driver is a must.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring ability — patient, empathetic, and firm.
  • Knowledge of road safety standards, defensive driving, and transport regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with drivers. Understanding of driver motivation, engagement, and behavioural management
  • Ability to hands on deliver training effectively, including planning, executing, and evaluating training programs. Ability to analyze performance data and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Certifications related to the job, if any, will have added advantage.
