Job Summary

CAE Flight Operations Solutions is seeking a Full-Time Instructor Pilot to conduct classroom instruction in aircraft systems and provide standardized training in simulators and aircraft. Responsibilities include preparing and conducting briefings, oral and written examinations, and assisting with courseware development to ensure accuracy and responsiveness to client needs. The role also involves enforcing CAE SIMCOM safety standards, providing constructive feedback, and evaluating customer progress to enhance operational performance and satisfaction.

Must Have

  • FAA Commercial Pilot's License
  • Hold an FAA CFI or CFI-I rating
  • Maintain a valid FAA Class 2 Medical
  • Accumulated at least 750 Total Flight Hours
  • 200 Hours in the TBM Model Aircraft
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet-based programs
  • Excellent fluency in English, both verbal and written

The Instructor Pilot will conduct classroom instruction in aircraft systems. They will prepares and conducts briefings, oral and written examinations. As well as assists with courseware development in the training program to keep courses up to date, accurate & responsive to the client’s needs and desires.

In this role, the Instructor Pilot will be responsible to:

The Instructor's Responsibilities:

  • Provide standardized training in the classroom, in the simulator, and in the aircraft
  • Provide Initial Recurrent Training, and differences training
  • Enforce the CAE SIMCOM standards, teaching in accordance with safety standards
  • Use verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills to teach effectively
  • Provide constructive feedback and evaluate customers' progress
  • Recommends any necessary remedial training action for a pilot not meeting the standard training progress, performance and schedules prescribed by the customer.
  • Notes and reports any discrepancy, malfunction, or inoperative item pertaining to the simulator operation and courseware.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • FAA Commercial Pilot's License
  • Hold an FAA CFI or CFI-I rating
  • Maintain a valid FAA Class 2 Medical.
  • Have accumulated at least 750 Total Flight Hours, 200 Hours in the TBM Model Aircraft
  • College degree is preferred
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet-based programs
  • Excellent fluency in English, both verbal and written; able to speak, read, and write effectively
