Data Engineering Internship – 6 Months

This Data Engineering Internship at CAE offers an opportunity to innovate and collaborate on critical projects applying Data Engineering & Analytic skills. Interns will support developing user stories, R&D, and POCs, collaborate with domain experts, assist with documentation, and fulfill supervisor-assigned tasks. The role involves job shadowing with SMEs, seeking regular feedback, and tracking progress within a world-class company and industry leader.

Must Have

• Support in developing user stories, R&D, POCs
• Collaborate with domain experts to align solutions with operational needs

• Job shadowing with SMEs and seeking regular feedback and track progress
• Ability to assist in building, testing, and maintaining data pipelines (ETL/ELT) using Python and SQL
• Help design and implement database schemas, tables, and views
• Profile source data, implement data cleansing, and ensure data quality
• Collaborate with senior engineers to optimize data workflows for performance and cost
• Participate and collaborate in daily stand-ups and team meetings, communicating progress and challenges
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Support in documentation of data processes, pipelines, and architecture
• Must be adaptable and a fast learner in a dynamic/agile environment
• Graduate/Post graduate in Engineering - freshers passed out in 2025 only apply
• Indian Citizen

Good to Have

• Exposure to Azure Cloud computing
• Exposure to Data Engineering Tools like Databricks or Fabric or AzureDataFactory
• Exposure to CI/CD Devops
• Exposure to Containerization

Internship will be carried out in Hybrid mode. Only Indian Citizens are eligible to apply
