Job Description

The Account Executive/Business Developer develops new business relationships and supports existing clients in the eCOA/Digital Health space. This role focuses on growing new business relationships within the eCOA/Digital Health team. Responsibilities include understanding services, identifying prospects, developing client relationships, closing sales, promoting services, providing customer support, managing pricing, and learning client industries.
Must have:
  • Develop understanding of TransPerfect’s services.
  • Identify prospective customers and organizations for sales.
  • Develop new client relationships via cold calling, Internet, trade shows.
  • Identify, qualify, develop, and close sales opportunities.
  • Promote and educate clients regarding TransPerfect’s services.
  • Provide customer support and manage client expectations.
  • Manage and control pricing and contractual issues.
  • Learn about client’s industry, business needs, and culture.
  • Perform other special projects or duties as required.
Good to have:
  • Previous experience in COA and/or Digital Health setting
  • Interest in Strategic Business Development

The Account Executive/Business Developer is responsible for developing new business relationships and serving as the first level of support to existing clients.

This role will focus on growing and developing new business relationships within our eCOA/Digital Health team.

Position responsibilities:

  • Develop an effective understanding of the capability, benefits and competitive advantages of TransPerfect’s services
  • Identify prospective customers and individual organizations to focus on sales activities
  • Develop new client relationships via cold calling, Internet, and trade shows
  • In coordination with Sales Management, identify, qualify, develop and close sales opportunities
  • Promote and educate clients regarding TransPerfect’s services
  • Provide customer support and manage client expectations in liaison with the Production Management Team
  • Manage and control pricing and contractual issues by developing a thorough understanding of company procedures
  • Take an active role in learning about each client’s industry, business needs and company culture to identify new business opportunities and provide a high level of service
  • Perform other special projects or duties when required

Job requirements

Essential skills and experience required:

  • Previous Account Management/Sales experience - Preferably in a COA and/or Digital Health setting
  • Interest in or previous experience in Strategic Business Development
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Superior written and spoken communication skills in English
  • Good analytical skills needed to project revenues, monitor budgets and other necessary calculations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent
  • Ability to work 5 days per week from our London office
  • Most importantly, the ideal candidate must demonstrate ability to: multitask in a fast-paced environment, work well with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures, build strategic relationships with clients and co-workers, work as part of a team, take active measures to solve problems and commit to a high level of service
