Job Description

Rippling is seeking a talented and ambitious Account Executive for their PEO division. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage both high-velocity and strategic sales cycles. The Account Executive will focus 100% of their time on engaging with prospects, qualifying opportunities, managing sales cycles, and closing revenue. They will work closely with Account Managers and other Account Executives to ensure a smooth transition for new customers to Rippling's platform. Responsibilities include managing the PEO/ASO pipeline in Salesforce, conducting sales calls with presentations, closing business to meet quota, becoming a product expert, and understanding the competitor landscape.
Must have:
  • BA/BS Degree
  • 2+ years PEO sales experience
  • Experience carrying $350k+ quota
  • Experience selling PEO/ASO software
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
Good to have:
  • Success in top 10% of sales organization

About the role


The PEO Account Executive role at Rippling provides an extremely unique opportunity -- we’re looking for talented and ambitious Account Executives who can both manage a high velocity sales cycle while also navigating a very strategic sales process.


One fundamental belief at Rippling is that PEO Account Executive should spend 100% of their time between engaging with interested prospects/customers, qualifying PEO/ASO opportunities, managing sales cycles to help potential customers evaluate our PEO/ASO services, closing revenue from marketing generated demos, and working with our Account Executives to ensure a seamless transition to our platform for new customers.


What you will do

  • Manage PEO/ASO pipeline in Salesforce to accurately forecast revenue and move deal along in PEO quoting process
  • Run sales calls with short deck presentation and deep PEO/ASO discussions
  • Close business and achieve quota attainment consistently
  • Become a product expert on PEO/ASO service offering and understand our competitor landscape
  • Work closely with AM/Account Executive teams to ensure a successful PEO/ASO evaluation and close

What you will need

  • BA/BS Degree
  • 2+ years successful PEO sales experience
  • Experience carrying a $350k+ annual quota
  • Experience of success (top 10% of sales org)
  • Experience selling PEO/ASO software
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment

This role will receive a competitive On-Target Earnings (base salary + sales commission) + benefits + equity. The On-Target Earnings* for US-based employees will be 50/50 commission split for base/variable pay, and aligned with one of the ranges below based on location; see which tier applies to your location here.


A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation–including a candidate’s professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed below.

The pay range for this role is:

150,000.00 - 165,000.00 USD per year (Remote, OTE)
