The Account Specialist in Global Account Management provides first-level support to CME Group's customers, vendors, and the Global Account Management team. This role involves regular collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and clients to achieve business, technology, and operations objectives. Key responsibilities include handling market data inquiries, processing Globex and market data requests, identifying enhancement needs, managing customer onboarding, and supporting workflow tools. The specialist will also develop operational processes and analyze efficiencies.
Must have:
  • Provide 1st level support for all market data inquiries.
  • Support the Global Account Mgmt team in processing any Globex or market data requests.
  • Identify enhancement requests and assist with troubleshooting, testing and training for CME Group’s internal and client-facing tools.
  • Liaise with finance and accounting to help solve any customer invoice disputes.
  • Manage customer onboarding and account maintenance for CME Group’s market data, access administration, risk management and certification tools.
  • Support the implementation and expansion of Service Cloud and related workflow management tools.
  • Develop operational processes and internal documentation related to the Global Account Management team’s Globex and Data Account Management responsibilities.
  • Review operational responsibilities to analyze and provide suggestions to management on ways to increase operational efficiencies related to customer onboarding and account management.
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects, data analysis and data cleanup.
Good to have:
  • Experience with Salesforce and Service Cloud

Account Specialist, Global Account Management

The Account Specialist in Global Account Management will provide first level support to CME Group’s customers, vendors and the Global Account Management team. In this role the Specialist works regularly with internal cross-functional teams and clients to deliver on business, technology and operations-related objectives

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Provide 1st level support for all market data inquiries.
  • Support the Global Account Mgmt team in processing any Globex or market data requests.
  • Identify enhancement requests and assist with troubleshooting, testing and training for CME Group’s internal and client-facing tools.
  • Liaise with finance and accounting to help solve any customer invoice disputes.
  • Manage customer onboarding and account maintenance for CME Group’s market data, access administration, risk management and certification tools.
  • Support the implementation and expansion of Service Cloud and related workflow management tools.

Skills & Software Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience with Salesforce and Service Cloud preferred
  • 1-3 years’ experience within the financial services industry or in a client service or account management role
  • Ability to perform with quality and attention to detail.
  • Highly responsive and client-orientated with strong commitment to client service.
