About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Accountant to join our team. This role involves managing various accounting tasks, including document entry, financial reporting, and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting and tax regulations, a relevant degree, and previous experience in a similar position. Key qualities include accuracy, good organization, teamwork, analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
This role is based in our Warsaw offices on a hybrid working model.
Role Responsibilities:
Decreeing and entering documents for the purchase of domestic and foreign goods and services into the financial and accounting system.
Statistical Office reporting and National Bank reporting.
Accounting of civil law contracts.
Accounting of bank statements.
Entering fixed assets and posting depreciation as well as other documents and transactions.
Posting the intra-community acquisitions (WNT).
Reconciling account balances, verifying and confirming balances with contractors.
Verifying the correctness of documents (both purchase and sales; accounting documents; contracts; etc.) in terms of accounting and tax aspects.
Cooperation with external auditors.
Participation in work related to the preparation of monthly and annual closings.
Ongoing support for the work of the Chief Accountant and the team depending on current needs.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
Essential
Very good knowledge and ability to apply applicable accounting and tax regulations (CIT, VAT).
Higher education in a relevant field such as Accounting/Economics/Finance or similar.
Previous experience in a similar position.
Desirable
Conscientiousness in performing tasks and solving problems.
Accuracy, systematicity, responsibility and good organization of own work.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Developed analytical skills and attention to detail.
Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
Knowledge of the ENOVA365 program.
Knowledge of English at a communicative level.
