Wolters Kluwer is seeking an Account Manager Inside Sales (New Business) for its Legal & Regulatory division. This role involves expanding the customer base by following up on warm marketing leads to generate new business. You will translate customer needs into solutions for prospects, selling and advising by phone and via Teams. Responsibilities include achieving sales, customer expansion, and satisfaction targets, primarily through extensive contact with potential clients such as Accountants, Lawyers, Tax Specialists, Jurists, and Notaries.
Must have:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in a similar position
  • Affinity with selling products and services
  • Ability to engage in sales processes with senior discussion partners

Within the Legal & Regulatory division, we are looking for a new colleague for our Sales team, an Account Manager Inside Sales (New Business).

Customers are also increasingly opting for a remote account manager; always accessible and faster business. That is why in this position you play a crucial role in further expanding our customer base by following up on warm leads (from marketing) and thus generating new business.

What will you do?

As an Account Manager Inside Sales (New Business), you are responsible for translating customer wishes and needs into solutions for prospects who should ultimately become customers. You sell and advise by phone and via Teams a selection from the broad Wolters Kluwer portfolio... This way you contribute to the further expansion of our Inside Sales organization. You will also work with 10 other colleagues from Deventer.

In this dynamic position, you are responsible for achieving your objectives (revenue, customer expansion, and customer satisfaction) based on established targets. You do this mainly by having a lot of contact with your (potential) customers. Prospects you will call include: Accountant, Lawyer, Tax Specialist, Jurist, and Notary.

Other tasks and responsibilities include:

Portfolio Renewal

You proactively make proposals for the renewal and improvement of product portfolios based on observed developments at your prospects/customers and at Wolters Kluwer to increase your sales and revenue.

Account Management

You create an account plan for your market. With this, you cultivate your market and prospects/customers. You have and take responsibility for the expansion and further development of your portfolio.

Appointments and Administration

You accurately record the information you obtain from your prospects/customers on the phone, so that all administrative and (after)sales activities can be carried out by the Customer Service department. This includes order entry, invoicing, and delivery.

Who are you?

You are commercially oriented, communicatively skilled, and an ace in (telephonic) sales. You like to go the extra mile, because commerce is in your DNA. You only go home truly satisfied when you know that the prospect/customer is happy and you have satisfied them, resulting in you achieving your personal goals and targets.

Furthermore, your CV should include:

  • HBO work and thinking level;
  • Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in a similar position;
  • Affinity with selling products and services (e.g., experience with online and/or software sales or some basic knowledge of the fiscal or legal industry);
  • You are firm in your shoes and are not afraid to enter a sales process with (external) senior discussion partners.
