CCH Tagetik, part of Wolters Kluwer's Corporate Performance & ESG division, is seeking a Manager, Product Software Engineering. This role requires strong leadership, a pragmatic outlook, and experience in growing teams and people within Development and operations. The manager will guide and enable 5-6 diverse engineering teams, providing coaching, mentorship, and direction. The goal is to deliver high-quality software, meet customer needs, and continuously improve team capacity and capabilities.
Must have:
  • Translate business needs into capability build up and hiring plans.
  • Provide regular feedback to people you lead in a caring and direct way.
  • Help our people set goals that will grow their careers.
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive working environment where everyone can thrive.
  • Identify blockers, problems or red flags and ensure timely action.
  • Set performance goals and check progress with periodical check-ins.
  • Cascade and clarify organizational vision, strategy, goals, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team to define team composition and organizational design.
  • Collaborate with other teams and functions for seamless integration and product launches.
  • At least a couple of years of experience in leading people.
  • Solid understanding of application & system development and Agile practices.
  • Refined prioritization skills.
  • Strong understanding of how to drive a thriving Engineering culture.
  • Experience in coaching and developing teams career wise.
  • Data driven approach to decision making.
  • Ability to drive sustainable growth of the Engineering organization.
  • Ability to implement evaluation criteria and career planning for engineers.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in Italian and English.

Here at CCH Tagetik, part of Wolters Kluwer's Corporate Performance & ESG division, we are looking for a Manager, Product Software Engineering with strong leadership ability, a pragmatic outlook and experience growing teams and people to join our Development and operations teams . As a Manager, you will use both your leadership and technical expertise to guide and enable diverse teams of highly engaged engineers. You’ll give coaching, mentorship and direction for 5/6 teams. You’ll have the skills, experience, wisdom, patience and determination to work with the team to deliver high quality software to meet our customers needs and continually improve the capacity and capabilities of the team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Translate business needs into capability build up and hiring plans in own teams, play a key role in helping us continue to attract, develop and retain great engineering talent.
  • Provide regular feedback to people you lead in a caring and direct way.
  • Help our people set goals that will grow their careers.
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive working environment where everyone can thrive.
  • Identify blockers, problems or red flags and ensure the teams are aware of these and take timely action to deal with them.
  • Set performance goals according to employee expectations and company needs and check the progress towards these goals with periodical check-ins, collecting feedback, and giving support and direction.
  • Cascade and clarify organizational vision, strategy, goals, and procedures to team members.
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team and help define the team composition and the overall organizational design.
  • Collaborate with other teams and functions to facilitate seamless integration and successful product launches.

You have:

  • At least a couple of years of experience in leading people.
  • Solid understanding of application & system development and Agile practices.

  • Experience in coaching and developing teams career wise.
