The Acquisition Manager M/F at Condé Nast France will drive B2C customer base growth and revenue for brands like Vogue and GQ. This role involves defining and deploying multi-channel acquisition strategies, primarily online, including Paid Media, SEA, and email marketing. Key responsibilities include generating qualified traffic to e-commerce sites, optimizing campaign visibility and ROI, managing budgets, and implementing A/B tests. The manager will collaborate with internal teams and external agencies, analyze campaign performance, benchmark best practices, and explore new acquisition channels to enhance lifetime value.
Must have:
  • Define and deploy multi-channel acquisition strategy.
  • Recruit new subscribers, event participants, and clients.
  • Manage Paid Media activity for brands like Vogue, AD, Vanity Fair, GQ.
  • Generate qualified traffic to e-commerce sites.
  • Optimize campaign visibility and ROI.
  • Manage and allocate global acquisition budget.
  • Implement A/B tests for performance improvement.
  • Brief graphic designers and external providers.
  • Collaborate with internal business managers and external agencies.
  • Measure, analyze, and report campaign performance.
  • Benchmark best practices and propose new acquisition channels.
  • Update e-commerce site with new offers.
  • Prepare and pilot marketing prospecting email sends via Sailthru.
  • Conduct lead collection campaigns.
  • Ensure campaign consistency with editorial lines.
  • Support evolution of Marketing and analytical tools.
  • At least 3 years of experience in digital marketing.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
  • Rigor and strong analytical (Data-driven) capabilities.
  • Proactive, dynamic, curious, and improvement-oriented.
  • Good knowledge of Digital Marketing and acquisition tools.
  • Native French speaker preferred, fluent English required.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Team spirit and autonomy.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge and experience in the media and magazine press sector.

Job Description

Within the Consumer Revenue France department, the Acquisition Manager M/F will develop the customer base and B2C revenues of Condé Nast France brands through a multi-channel acquisition strategy (online and offline). The Acquisition Manager M/F will be responsible for Paid media activity for the Vogue, Architectural Digest, Vanity Fair, and GQ brands.

Main responsibilities and missions:

  • Define the strategy and deploy the acquisition roadmap to recruit new subscribers to our magazines, participants in our events, and our clients, mainly via various online channels: Paid Media, SEA, e-mailings, display, self-promotion, etc.
  • Generate qualified traffic to our e-commerce sites.
  • Optimize the visibility of our campaigns.
  • Manage and allocate the global acquisition budget.
  • Optimize ROI per channel, making necessary adjustments.
  • Define and implement A/B tests for a continuous search for performance improvement of our campaigns: wordings / creatives / channels.
  • Brief graphic designers and/or external service providers.
  • Work in collaboration with internal Consumer business managers (subscriptions / sales / e-commerce) as well as external agencies to refine the acquisition strategy and improve lifetime value.
  • Measure, analyze, and establish performance reports for campaigns using available measurement tools.
  • Benchmark best practices of Condé Nast titles internationally as well as competition in France.
  • Explore and propose new acquisition channels.
  • Update the e-commerce site with new offers.
  • Prepare and manage Marketing prospecting email sends via our Sailthru platform; monitor all KPIs for optimization (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, CPA, etc.)
  • Conduct lead collection campaigns.
  • Ensure that campaign visuals and messages are consistent with our editorial lines and reader profiles.
  • Support the evolution of Marketing and analytical tools made available by Condé Nast global.

Required profile and qualities:

  • At least 3 years of experience in digital marketing
  • Organization, planning, and prioritization: ability to work on multiple subjects and activities simultaneously
  • Rigor and strong analytical skills (Data-driven profile)
  • Proactive, dynamic, curious, constantly seeking improvement.
  • Good knowledge of Digital Marketing, mastery of digital acquisition tools and their evolution.
  • Native French speaker preferred, and fluent English
  • Writing skills.
  • Team spirit (many interactions with other members of the local Consumer team, but also Europe and global).
  • Autonomy.
  • Knowledge and experience in the media and magazine press sector would be a plus.
