This role is for an Ad Operations Executive within MiQ's China Outbound team, focusing on digital media campaign execution for global brands marketing outside mainland China. Responsibilities include creative trafficking, troubleshooting in various ad servers (CM360, DV360, TTD, etc.), and data analysis. Good To Have:
  • Knowledge of HTML5 and basic JavaScript is a plus.
Must Have:
  • Work with internal teams & clients on creative upload and troubleshooting in CM360 and other DSPs.
  • Participate in projects to improve pre-campaign processes and maximize creative compliance.
  • Scope & recommend new creative formats and ad-serving technologies for performance gains.
  • Collaborate with the Create team on delivering outstanding Creative solutions.
  • Troubleshoot creative testing in 3rd party ad servers/DSPs and amend creative setup.
  • Lead internal & external "firefighting" when necessary.
  • Maintain high service levels, adhering to internal processes & SLAs.

This is a truly unique opportunity to be a key Ad Operations employee of a China business unit, servicing global brands marketing outside mainland China. The successful candidate will join a growing central team.

The Ad Operations Executive position will sit at the heart of the China Outbound team and will be focused on the smooth, efficient execution of digital media campaigns. The individual will be tasked with managing technical elements of pre-campaign launch, creative trafficking, troubleshooting and data analysis/reporting. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Working with internal teams & clients on creative upload and troubleshooting in CM360 and other ad servers, as well as various DSPs (DV360, TTD, Xandr, Beeswax, Amazon, Yahoo)
  • Participate/lead special projects aimed at improving our pre-campaign processes and maximising creative compliance & capabilities, g. creative design & build process, SSL compliance, flash to HTML5 migration
  • Scope & produce recommendations on new creative formats & ad-serving technologies which can promote performance gains & incremental business results for our clients
  • Work with our in house Create team on delivering outstanding Creative solutions for clients
  • Troubleshooting
  • Creative testing in 3rd party ad servers / DSPs Amendments to creative set up
  • Lead on internal & external “firefighting” where necessary
  • Maintain the highest level of service both internally and externally consistently adhering to internal process & SLAs

What you’ll bring

  • 1-2 years with Strong Ad-ops trafficking and troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge of the programmatic & digital marketing landscape
  • Hands-on experience on multiple digital platforms (Ad servers / DSP / SSP / DMP, )
  • Advanced knowledge of 3rd party Ad servers (CM360 is a must)
  • Knowledge of the programmatic buying Knowledge of HTML5 and basic JavaScript is a plus.
  • Proven time management, prioritization, and team training Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience in dealing with Clients from multiple markets including Asia and North
  • Experience managing multiple time-sensitive tasks to completion, prioritizing accordingly
  • Experience with implementing new processes promoting operational efficiency

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Solid experience with trafficking & troubleshooting creative upload in DV360, TTD, Yahoo, Beeswax and/or Amazon DSP
  • Experience managing & troubleshooting creative trafficking in Campaign Manager 360 is a must! Working knowledge of other ad servers is an advantage
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Javascript, HTML5
  • Strong communication skills; an ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to multitask and effectively prioritise with a view to consistently hitting tight timelines
