Job Description
This role is for a Systems Engineer or a professional in a related field, focusing on the administration of Windows and/or Linux operating systems. Key responsibilities include managing virtualization farms (Hyper-V/VMware), backup platforms, and storage units. The successful candidate will also provide basic support for operating systems, handle requests for Windows services like Active Directory and DNS, manage file systems, configure virtual servers, and perform backup/restoration tasks, with an emphasis on automation.
Must have:
- Provide basic support for Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Manage requests for Windows services including Active Directory, DNS, and ENTRAID.
- Handle file system requests.
- Configure virtual servers and provision resources.
- Perform backup and restoration management.
- Implement automation.
- Possess 1 year of experience in server operating system management.
