- Collaborate with the Power Electronics, PCB Layout, Process and System Engineering teams to successfully develop, validate and manufacture products that meet customer requirements
- Coordination of requirements and design reviews (with product responsibility) in each of the sample phases with DFMEA to ensure product quality
- Collaboration with suppliers to secure design and cost advantages
- Support in technical communication with internal and external customers
- Development of constructive design solutions in the field of mobile charging infrastructure
- Independent development of new products in CAD 3D
- Creation of drawing packages and initiation of work instructions for the production team
- Independent creation of drawings in CAD 2D
- Independent creation of tolerance studies based on drawings
- Responsibility for the content of the design FMEA
- Independent creation of PDP design reviews
- Technical support and presentations for customers
- Independent assembly tests of individual components and design approval
- Placing orders, laboratory orders, sample requests, SLA creation, sample drawings, external drawing creation, etc.
- Independent approval of production tools with regard to part functionality
- Supplier agreements for material selection, purchased parts, etc. Support the quality department with quality issues, defining preventive quality measures for new developments
- Determination of tool costs and modification costs based on 3D models.
- Independent selection of materials to be used
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable technical field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the development of electrical/power electronic high-voltage enclosures
- Experience with mechanical 3D design and analysis tools (FEA; Mold Flow)
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
- Materials science knowledge of the materials used in electronic enclosures
