Job Description

Join Aptiv as an Embedded Software Engineer for Diagnostic, participating in the full engineering process from design to integration. You will create new solutions for Autonomous Driving, Advanced Safety, and Infotainment systems, developing C/C++ embedded software on POSIX/AUTOSAR platforms. The role involves implementing UDS, optimizing performance, and troubleshooting, while continuously developing professional skills in innovative automotive technologies.
Good To Have:
  • Hands-on experience in Diagnostic development.
  • Knowledge of automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Flex Ray).
  • Knowledge of Python or any scripting language.
  • Experience in Cybersecurity.
  • Experience in Functional Safety.
Must Have:
  • Create new solutions for Autonomous Driving, Advanced Safety, and Infotainment systems.
  • Develop C/C++ embedded software on POSIX/AUTOSAR platforms.
  • Implement UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) based on client requirements.
  • Optimize performance of automotive software components.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot software using platform prototypes and debuggers.
  • Cooperate with local and remote Aptiv teams.
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics or Computer Science.
  • Good C/C++ programming skills.
  • Good knowledge of embedded systems programming.
  • Experience in programming embedded systems.
  • Good English language skills.

Position Summary

You will participate in full engineering process starting from design through developing and testing to integrating software. As a member of the experienced team you will explore and exploit cutting-edge technologies and shape the future of mobility.

Your Role

  • Creating new solutions/platforms/components for Autonomous Driving, Advanced Safety and Infotainment systems under embedded environment
  • Development C/C++ - embedded software running on POSIX/AUTOSAR platforms
  • Implementing UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) based on different Clients requirements
  • Performance optimization automotive software components
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting using platform prototypes and dedicated debugger tools
  • Co-operation with local and remote Aptiv teams involved in software development life cycle
  • Continuous development and improving your professional skills working with innovative technologies

Your Background

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics or Computer Science or related
  • Good C/C++ programming skills
  • Good knowledge of embedded systems programming, taking into account limited system resources (RAM, ROM, CPU)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn
  • Experience in programming of embedded systems
  • Good English language skills
  • Passion in software development and curiosity about new automotive technologies

Nice to haves

  • Hands-on experience in Diagnostic development, knowledge of automotive industry
  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols, for example CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Flex Ray
  • Knowledge of Python or any scripting language
  • Experience in the area of Cybersecurity, Functional Safety
