Job Summary
A.Team is seeking an AI/ML Architect to lead transformative AI initiatives. This role involves managing complex AI delivery programs, contributing production-grade code, and establishing the playbook for AI delivery on client projects. Responsibilities include scoping, planning, and running AI projects (LLM apps, MLOps, RAG, agent orchestration), refining sales-to-delivery hand-offs, tracking project KPIs, managing client relationships, establishing quality gates, and training delivery managers. The role also requires contributing to A.Team's AI Solutions Platform by shipping code in Python/TypeScript, orchestrating reusability, and embedding engineering expertise into deployed missions.

Job Description
- Establish the playbook for A.Team's AI delivery for client projects — scope, plan, and run 3-6 concurrent projects (LLM apps, MLOps, RAG, agent orchestration)
- Refine SOW & sales-to-delivery hand-offs for zero-surprise launches
- Track detailed project KPIs (velocity, burn-up, MTTR, margin, resource utilization) and regularly report to the internal team
- Own client relationships & escalations; translate technical progress to C-suite value
- Protect project margin (± 3% of plan) while sustaining delivery excellence
- Establish quality gates—code review, automated tests, model-card compliance
- Train and manage delivery managers in the A.Team network as our Company grows
- Ensure client’s project goals are met (quality, accuracy scoring, value creation KPIs, etc.)
- On-time delivery ± 5%
- NPS ≥ 95%
- Ship code: Python/TypeScript micro-services, vector-DB abstractions, prompt-engineering SDKs
- Orchestrate reusability across multiple missions
- Embed A.Team engineering into deployed missions to gather industry/vertical specific domain knowledge
- Former Senior Software Engineer, Solutions Architect, or equivalent, with demonstrated success in designing and implementing complex AI solutions
- Extensive experience in AI development, including successful implementations in analytics, machine learning models, and cloud architectures
- Proven comfort and effectiveness in client-facing roles, including conducting presentations, facilitating discovery sessions, and engaging in technical discussions at the executive level
- Exceptional technical writing skills, capable of crafting detailed, persuasive proposals and precise technical specifications
- Entrepreneurial mindset, driven by mission-focused initiatives and passionate about delivering technology that creates measurable business impact
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field (Master's degree preferred)
- 10+ years of professional experience building cutting-edge software with client-facing experience; experience with AI a must
- Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor cross-functional teams
