AI/ML Research Scientist, AI Interpretability & Visualization

We are seeking a Researcher to advance the state of the art in evaluating and developing modern machine learning models, with a focus on the real-world application of artificial intelligence. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to create interactive systems and strategies that enhance the understandability, transparency, and safety of our AI systems. This role requires a strong curiosity for rigorous evaluation, a deep understanding of current machine learning and AI technologies, excellent prototyping and development skills, and the ability to clearly communicate complex algorithms and methods. You will join a dedicated team of technical Research Scientists focused on improving the robustness, speed, and usability of machine learning, often utilizing data visualizations to aid partners in understanding large datasets and evaluating models. Collaboration with innovative product teams across Apple is key, with the opportunity to see projects implemented on over 1 billion Apple devices globally.
