Job Description

This role involves contributing to the development of algorithmic solutions for defense systems, encompassing studies, modeling, prototyping, simulation, and performance validation. You will design and develop advanced algorithms, propose innovative solutions for complex problems like detection, classification, and data fusion, and participate in their validation through simulation. The position also requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and continuous technological watch on algorithms, AI, and defense systems. The work is conducted within a modern architectural framework, focusing on pushing technological boundaries in key sectors.
Must have:
  • Conceive and develop advanced algorithms for defense systems.
  • Propose innovative solutions for complex problems (detection, classification, data fusion, prediction, optimization).
  • Participate in algorithm validation through simulation and performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (business teams, industrial partners, research labs).
  • Ensure technological watch on algorithms, AI, and defense systems.
  • Graduate of an engineering school or hold a doctorate in computer science, applied mathematics, automation, or equivalent.
  • Successful first experience in algorithmic solution design and performance simulation validation.
  • Good knowledge of numerical methods, signal processing, or automation.
  • Ability to propose relevant modeling for physical simulation problems.
  • Expertise in artificial intelligence and numerical methods.
  • Very good level of English, both written and spoken.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of specific issues in the defense sector (radar and optronic sensors, communication systems, tactical link L16, command and control systems, defense networks, missile fire control).

Your daily life

Your activity may be distributed as follows:

  • Project: Contribution to the development of algorithmic solutions for defense, including studies, modeling, prototyping, simulation, and performance validation;
  • Innovation: Participation in innovation work and contribution to the valorization of R&T results;
  • Monitoring: Analysis of the scientific and technological state of the art, detection of emerging trends, and realization of benchmarks to keep the company at the forefront of innovation.

Main responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced algorithms related to defense systems;
  • Propose innovative solutions to complex problems: detection, classification, data fusion, prediction, optimization, etc.;
  • Participate in algorithm validation through simulation and performance analysis;
  • Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders (business teams, industrial partners, research laboratories);
  • Ensure technological watch on algorithms, AI, and defense systems.

Your profile

You are a graduate of an engineering school or hold a doctorate in computer science, applied mathematics, automation, or an equivalent field.

With a successful first experience in designing algorithmic solutions and validating performance simulations, you have good knowledge of numerical methods, signal processing, or automation. You are capable of proposing relevant modeling to address a physical simulation problem.

You are recognized for your expertise in artificial intelligence and numerical methods.

Ideally, you have knowledge of specific issues in the defense sector (radar and optronic sensors, communication systems, tactical link L16, command and control systems, defense networks, missile fire control, etc.).

Your creativity, rigor, autonomy, and appetite for innovation are recognized.

Very good level of English, both written and spoken.

The position may require access to information related to national defense secrecy; the selected person will be subject to a security clearance procedure, in accordance with the provisions of articles R.2311-1 et seq. of the Defense Code and IGI 1300 SGDSN/PSE of August 9, 2021.
