This role within the Toulouse Information Systems Department involves ensuring the operational excellence of IT systems. Key responsibilities include providing support and troubleshooting for system installations and upgrades, responding to IT-related requests, and maintaining security software. The position is crucial for guaranteeing the security, availability, speed, and reliability of the IT infrastructure at the Toulouse site, which is dedicated to satellite systems engineering and payload development.

Your daily life

The Toulouse site is responsible for satellite systems engineering, the design and production of payloads, as well as the development and qualification of ground segments. It includes a research center and an industrial accelerator for start-ups and ventures.

Within the Toulouse Information Systems Department, your main missions will be:

  • Ensure support and troubleshooting for installations and upgrades of the entire IT system
  • Respond to IT-related requests
  • Ensure security software updates
  • Ensure IT security, availability, speed, and reliability

You have knowledge in the following areas:

  • General operating systems, Enterprise, programming and scripting languages (C, Python, Java, Bash, PowerShell) and Office software Database and network security systems (including routing, switching, and overlay)
  • Local Area Network (LAN), wireless networks, and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies (e.g., DWDM, SONET, ATM, MSPP)
  • Storage and cloud computing technologies
  • Testing and configuration tools
  • Azure, AWS, GCP or VMware VMC providing Infrastructure as a Service
  • Basic level coding in PowerShell, REST, YAML, and Java
  • Configuration of software firewalls for guests and the platform

Profile:

  • You are a graduate of an engineering school (Electronics, Aeronautics / Space, IT…) or a university program with a Master 2 (BAC +5)
  • You have experience in IT engineering or software development, particularly lifecycle development, hardware and software analysis, platform and/or network development
  • You have an analytical mind, are ingenious
  • You are comfortable with problem-solving
  • You firmly believe in continuous improvement and have a taste for pedagogy
