Job Description

Salesforce is seeking talent to lead Business Development and Go-To-Market strategies for accelerating partnerships with Global System Integrators (GSIs) in Japan. The Strategic Alliances First Sales Division aims to maximize partner business with top GSI partners like Accenture and Deloitte, focusing on long-term business expansion and ACV acquisition, as well as customer success. This role involves creating and executing comprehensive Go-To-Market strategies to maximize short-term and long-term business results through GSI collaboration, supporting a Win-Win-Win for Salesforce, customers, and partners.
Must have:
  • Practical experience in enterprise account sales in the IT industry
  • Sales experience with SaaS and cloud-based products and services
  • Experience managing activities related to sales pipeline generation, maturation, and sales forecasting
  • Team selling experience with SEs and consultants
  • Ability to quickly scrutinize and prioritize multiple high-profile actions and deals and translate them into speedy actions
  • Understanding of sales operations, including quoting and escalation management to relevant departments
  • Ability to drive and execute new projects and achieve results even in ambiguous situations
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, sociable, and experienced in achieving excellent results under pressure
  • A mindset that enjoys 'learning and running while thinking'
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and textual
  • Experience in preparing and conducting business reports and presentations for internal and external executives
Good to have:
  • Experience collaborating with GSI partners
  • Ability to understand complex contract terms and various regulations in operations, identify business progress issues for stakeholders, and proactively resolve them or participate in rule-making
  • Experience in joint development of 'How to' content related to various operational improvements and enablement for stakeholders to promote and expand collaboration with partners
  • Extensive knowledge of Salesforce products
  • Broad network with various stakeholders related to Go-To-Market within Salesforce
  • Ability to identify Salesforce co-sell opportunities through collaboration with other companies
  • Business-level English proficiency

Salesforce is looking for talent with experience, skills, motivation, and agility to proactively lead Business Development and Go-To-Market Motion to accelerate partnerships with Global System Integrator (GSI), our most strategic consulting partners, in the Japanese market.

About This Team and Position:

Salesforce's Strategic Alliances First Sales Division, Global Partner Sales Department, aims to maximize partner business with GSI partners. GSI partners include Accenture, Deloitte Consulting, PwC Consulting, IBM Japan, KPMG, Capgemini, Slalom, Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, Gloving, etc.

This partnership not only aims to achieve medium-to-long-term business expansion and ACV acquisition but also includes activities to promote customer success and the stable adoption of Salesforce.

The main goal with GSI partners is the creation and closing of big deals in the enterprise market, along with continuous business growth.

This team is dedicated to supporting the realization of a Win-Win-Win for our company, customers, and partners, not only from a short-term perspective but also from a medium-to-long-term perspective with the world's largest GSI partners.

About This Position:

This is a high-profile role that leads the comprehensive Go-To-Market strategy building and execution to maximize short-term and medium-to-long-term business results through collaboration with GSIs in the Japanese market.

Required Skills/Experience:
