Must have:
  • Work closely with sales representatives on strategic sales activities for companies.
  • Understand customer business and IT challenges, create and propose Slack solutions.
  • Create and deliver effective presentations and product demonstrations to CxO level.
  • Clearly demonstrate Slack's competitive advantages and differentiation points.
  • Provide accurate and clear explanations of Slack's security measures.
  • Lead pilots and PoCs for full-scale implementation, providing necessary technical support.
  • Actively contribute to the development of the growing Slack Specialist SE team.
  • Present and demonstrate Slack to large audiences at marketing events and webinars.
Good to have:
  • Slack Certified Administrator
  • Slack Certified Consultant
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • Over 6 years of practical experience in a pre-sales role (sales engineering, solution consulting, etc.) at a SaaS company
  • Business-level English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of the SaaS ecosystem for enterprise companies

Solutions Engineer's Mission

Solution Engineers serve as trusted partners to customer executives and personnel in business and technical fields, responsible for proposing solutions that bring significant transformation to customer collaboration and work styles. Solution Engineers become trusted partners to customer executives and personnel in business and technical fields, responsible for proposing solutions that bring significant transformation to customer collaboration and work styles.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with sales representatives to conduct strategic sales activities for companies.
  • Understand customer business and IT challenges, create and propose solutions utilizing Slack, thereby promoting understanding of Slack's value proposition.
  • Create and effectively deliver presentations and product demonstrations focused on solving customer business challenges and realizing their vision, to CxO level.
  • Clearly demonstrate Slack's competitive advantages and present easily understandable differentiation points to customers.
  • Provide accurate and clear explanations of Slack's security measures to ensure customers can confidently choose the product.
  • Lead pilots and PoCs for full-scale implementation, supporting customer success through necessary technical assistance.
  • Actively contribute to the development of the growing Slack Specialist SE team as a member.
  • Deliver Slack presentations and demonstrations to large audiences at marketing events and webinars.

Qualifications (Good to have)

  • Slack Certified Administrator
  • Slack Certified Consultant
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator

Required Skills/Experience

  • IT work experience in enterprise companies, or proposal experience for enterprise companies.
  • High interest in new technologies and work styles, and quick adaptability.
  • Logical and easy-to-understand presentation material creation skills from a customer perspective.
  • Presentation and demonstration skills that effectively convey customer value beyond feature explanations.
  • Ability to grasp IT and business issues through customer hearings and design solutions using our own solutions.

Good to have Skills/Experience

  • Over 6 years of practical experience in a pre-sales role (sales engineering, solution consulting, etc.) at a SaaS company.
  • Business-level English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of the SaaS ecosystem for enterprise companies.
