Amplifi is the supply-side platform of Dentsu International (DI), consisting of three pillars: Investment Management, Media Trading (Media Owner Services and Principal Buying) and Content (Original Partnerships & Entertainment); all underpinned by Supply-Side Management practices. The Amplifi platform includes all media buying/investment management, trading and the following: The Story Lab, Amnet and Posterscope businesses.

Supply-Side management: The three pillars are all under-pinned by Supply-side management for DI.  This is focused on the modernisation of our approach including the one entity for the management of all media owner procurement with a clear focus on robust and rigorous processes.

This role manages and supports the Amplifi commercial risk management team in the APAC region and will report into the Commercial Operations and Risk Management Director, Amplifi Global.

Role

  • Working alongside the Commercial Operations Director, APAC, regional Amplifi and local stakeholders to support and improve governance of media income across appropriate markets to ensure alignment with Amplifi global best practices.
  • Ensuring that practices are aligned with internal controls and client requirements from an Assurance and Risk Management perspective.
  • Support the Commercial operations team on understanding sources of media income and identify opportunities that can deliver revenue growth and/or diversification.
  • Act as a risk management line of defence for the business, liaising with the in-market and Global Amplifi teams to ensure SMI risk is management is best in class and robust.
  • Support the implementation of Amplifi Target Operating Model (ATOM) within markets to ensure governance across all supply-side activities.
  • Support the development and deployment of media income MOZART tools. Work alongside the in-market teams to ensure the adoption of tools to manage media income models and SMI risk.
  • Support the Commercial Operations Director with wider commercial and risk management initiatives.
  • Support the in-market teams to manage risk associated to supply side income and trading models as well as provide support in the adoption and usage of MOZART.
  • Reviewing and approving agile business cases when necessary.

Key Accountabilities

  • Play a key role in media income assurance reviews as well as client audits related to service income / media income
  • Analyse the transactional processes and gain an understanding of revenue models for all media income types and vendor due diligence to drive income protection and diversification in the APAC region.
  • Provide recommendations for SMI risk management and MOZART tools enhancement.
  • In consultation with process leads, assist with the development of compliance processes and tools and ensure market delivery.
  • Perform/lead onsite and desktop SMI reviews.
  • Monitor the implementation of recommendations plans agreed during the review.
  • Prepare commercial reviews reports and presentations for key stakeholders.
  • Work with the Commercial Operations Directors to support the Commercial team on understanding sources of media income and identify opportunities that could be delivered from the diversification program.
  • Support the Commercial Operation Directors with maintaining the Amplifi SMI risk register and the principal buying (Agyle) business case review process.
  • Being part of an APAC steering committee focusing on preserving and diversifying media income.

Professional Skills

  • Critical thinker and the ability to build rapport / credibility with local and regional market stakeholders a must. Moreover, must have strong communication, negotiation and report writing skills.
  • Experience in leading and managing client / internal audits.
  • Experience in setting up / managing reviews and managing multiple projects within practice.
  • Background/experience in commercial risk management.
  • Industry experience including programmatic, trading and client management with a strong understanding of Agency commercials is a nice-to-have.
