We are looking for an experienced Senior Power BI Developer with 6+ years of expertise in designing and developing enterprise-level BI solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating insightful dashboards and reports, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations using best practices.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.
• Create and maintain efficient and scalable data models using Power BI and DAX.
• Connect Power BI to various data sources (Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Azure, APIs, Databricks, Snowflake etc.).
• Optimize Power BI datasets and reports for performance and usability.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all BI solutions.
• Provide end-user training and support for BI tools.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and IT teams to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
• Stay up to date with Power BI updates and integrate new features into existing solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

Required:     

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Power BI development, data modeling, and visualization.
• Strong proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M).
• Microsoft Power Platform knowledge (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Solid experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven experience in handling large datasets and developing performance-optimized dashboards.
• Experience with Power BI Service (publishing, gateways, workspaces).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control (e.g., Git).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Data Platform (Data Factory, Synapse, Azure SQL, etc.)
• Knowledge of other BI tools like Tableau, SSRS, or Qlik (optional but beneficial).
• Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics.
• Power BI certification (e.g., PL-300) is a plus.
