Job Summary:
This role is at the heart of our sales team's effectiveness. You'll be responsible for the integrity of our Salesforce CRM data, ensuring it's clean, up-to-date, and actionable. A significant part of your day will involve researching and identifying high-quality prospects within the investment management sector, providing our sales team with the intelligence they need to forge meaningful connections. Your understanding of investment products and the financial industry will be key to identifying relevant leads, and your data visualization skills will help present these insights clearly. We are also looking for someone keen to leverage emerging technologies like Generative AI to enhance efficiency in their daily tasks.

Responsibilities:


  Salesforce CRM Data Management:

  • Maintain the highest level of data integrity within Salesforce, ensuring accuracy, completeness,   and consistency of client, prospect, and activity records.
  • Perform regular data cleansing activities, de-duplication, and data enrichment to optimize CRM effectiveness.
  • Develop and enforce data entry standards and best practices for the sales team.
  • Assist with Salesforce reporting and dashboard creation to monitor data quality and usage.
  • Conduct in-depth research to identify and qualify new sales prospects and target accounts within the investment management industry (e.g., institutional investors, wealth managers, financial advisors).
  • Gather intelligence on prospective clients, including their investment preferences, assets under management, organizational structure, and key decision-makers.
  • Utilize various data sources and tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator,industry databases, financial news outlets) to build comprehensive prospect profiles.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand their target client profiles and develop targeted research strategies.
  • Leverage your understanding of investment products (e.g., mutual funds, ETFs, alternative investments), market trends, and client segments to identify the most relevant and high-potential prospects.
  • Translate research findings into actionable insights, helping sales teams tailor their outreach based on specific client needs and market opportunities.

Data Visualization & Reporting (Research Insights):

  • Create clear and concise reports and visualizations (using tools like Tableau, Power BI) to present research findings, prospect lists, and data quality metrics to the sales team and leadership.
  • Develop dashboards that illustrate the health of our prospect database and the effectiveness of lead generation efforts.

Generative AI Application:

  • Explore and utilize Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar AI-powered assistants) to accelerate and enhance prospect research, data summarization, and content drafting for internal sales enablement.
  • Apply Gen AI to quickly synthesize information from various sources to build richer prospect profiles or generate initial drafts of internal communication or research summaries.
  • Understand the ethical considerations and limitations of using AI for data analysis and content generation, ensuring human oversight and accuracy.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in a data-focused role, sales support, or research position.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the Investment Management industry, including familiarity with financial products, market participants, and regulatory considerations.
  • Experience with prospect research techniques and tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator,ZoomInfo, Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar financial databases).
  • Ability to create clear and actionable reports; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio).
  • Familiarity with and willingness to explore Generative AI tools for task efficiency (e.g., for research, summarization, or drafting).
  • Understanding of Python.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
