As an AI Pre-Sales Scientist, you will be responsible for communicating FICO’s AI/Gen AI and machine learning/analytic methods to clients to drive sales. You will engage customers to ensure strong knowledge of FICO’s product differentiation. You will also support sales by presenting and conducting deep-dive sessions. You will also gather customer feedback to guide the creation of new IP for product development. You will be involved in identifying emerging trends, external communications, and creating demonstrations. You will respond to RFIs/RFPs and prepare sales proposals.
Must have:
  • MSc in computer science or related fields.
  • Experience in analyzing large data sets.
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms.
  • Experience with Java and Python.
  • Experience with AI and Gen AI frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms.
  • Adept at translating business problems.

The Opportunity

"As an AI Pre-Sales Scientist you’ll be responsible for communicating to clients on FICO’s AI/Gen AI and machine learning/analytic methods and latest innovations to drive sales efforts for FICO’s solutions that manage risk, fight financial crime, build profitable customer relationships, and meet regulatory requirements. As an AI/Gen AI and machine learning/analytic domain expert, you will engage customers at mid-level management and technical levels to ensure strong knowledge of FICO’s product differentiation and unique intellectual property (IP). Also, you will support direct sales in the communication of FICO’s differentiation of FICO’s AI/Gen AI capabilities via presentations and product deep-dive sessions. Whenever the opportunity arises, you will gather customer feedback to inform and lead the creation of new IP to guide FICO’s product and business development roadmap." - Analytic Science, Hiring Manager

What You'll Do

  • You will elevate how we engage with internal and external business on topics related to AI/Gen AI.
  • You will be accountable for driving strong customer engagement and understanding of FICO’s AI/Gen AI product offerings, understanding customer needs and relating those needs to machine learning/analytic methods utilized in FICO’s AI/Gen AI products.
  • You will also bring new requirements back to the product development team for consideration as part of our AI/Gen AI product roadmaps.
  • You will participate in research projects to identify emerging trends and technologies in AI/Gen AI space that can help us develop new products and expand our IP library.
  • You will focus on external communications bringing to our customers move visibility of the AI/Gen AI innovations and process behind the innovations, including speaking engagements, collateral development, presentations, and social medial messaging.
  • You will create proof of concepts, product demonstrations, respond to RFIs/RFPs, and prepare sales package proposals.

What We're Seeking

  • MSc degree in computer science, engineering, physics, statistics, mathematics, operations research or natural science fields with hands-on related experience in data science, including AI/Gen AI and machine learning. 
  • Experience analyzing large data sets and applying data-cleaning techniques along with performing statistical analyses leading to the understanding of the structure of data sets.
  • Proven and demonstrable experience with at least three of the following machine learning algorithms: neural networks, logistic regression, non-linear regression, random forests, decision trees, support vector machines, linear/non-linear optimization.  
  • Experience working with Java and Python, and strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
  • Experience with AI and Gen AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow or PyTorch).
  • Experience with at least one cloud-based platform (e.g., AWS SageMaker or Azure Machine Learning).
  • Adept at translating business problems into solution statements.
  • Strong communication skills and bilingualism/multilingualism are highly desirable.
  • Open for travel (50% — national and international travel).
