As the Apple TV Engagement Optimization Lead, you will be instrumental in improving the presentation of Apple TV+ content, including movies, series, and documentaries, on the TV App. Your responsibilities will include tracking and monitoring key engagement metrics, driving improvements in impression to tap and play rates, and staying current on competitive tactics. You will collaborate with product, analytics, and editorial teams to optimize content presentation, using data to inform short- and long-term strategies. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. You will also build Keynotes and resources for business reviews and present analyses and recommendations to senior executives.

As part of our global TV team, you will be responsible for measuring and driving efficacy to increase TV+ content engagement on TV App. You will also have a keen eye on the broader full TV App merchandizing efficiency ensuring that we are constantly optimizing to play with a focused test and learn approach. The requisite impact of this role on both Apple TV as a platform and Apple TV+ as a service will be significant. In working cross-functionally with our product, analytics, and editorial teams, you will guide tactics for content presentation on our platform toward effective end, constantly asking all of us to examine whether a given editorial effort, personalized or hand-curated, was effective in driving viewership, performance data at the ready to guide what we do next, both in the short and long term. The breadth of this role is varied, and it will require the ability to advance multiple actions across multiple stakeholders, often against very tight timelines dictated by the speed of our efforts in original content writ large. A dogged attention to detail, style, the art we serve, and the artistry of those who serve it will be absolutely essential. Key Areas of Focus: - Engagement metrics: tracking and monitoring of key engagement metrics and leading indicators, maintaining dialogue with our business, product, and analytics teams to ensure optimized engagement today and prudent roadmap choices tomorrow - KPIs - Responsible for driving improvement in impression to tap and impression to play rates for Apple TV+ - Exec communications: build Keynotes and additional resources for business reviews - Competitive intelligence: work to stay current on viewership-driving tactics employed by other services in the space - Manage cross-functional relationships and a variety of projects and initiatives with minimal direction - Present analyses and recommendations to senior executives
