As we continue to grow, we are now looking for an Art Director to join our Development team.
As Art Director, you’ll be responsible for defining and delivering the artistic vision for all our hybrid casual games. You’ll work closely with Design, Programming, Product, and Production teams, and lead a team of talented Game Artists. Together you’ll create visually stunning and commercially successful games that stand out in the market.
This is a permanent role based in our Leamington Spa studio, where our daily in-office collaboration fuels creativity and innovation. If you're not already based locally, we’ll support your move with comprehensive relocation assistance and visa sponsorship, ensuring a smooth transition.
Responsibilities: - Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Game Artists to produce their best work.
- Define the visual identity and art direction for each game, creating style guides, concept art, and mood boards.
- Develop efficient workflows and best practices to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure visuals support gameplay and overall game vision.
- Work towards reducing costs and increasing revenue to maximise profitability.
- Take ownership of all relevant visual and creative aspects of the game development process.
Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in a Lead Artist or Art Director role, ideally within mobile gaming.
- Strong knowledge of hybrid casual games and current market trends.
- Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and other industry-standard art tools.
- Excellent understanding of UI/UX design.
- Confident communicator with a collaborative mindset and strong leadership skills.
- Based in our office in Leamington Spa with 5 days per week on-site.
