As we continue to grow, we are now looking for a Senior Illustrator to join our Creative Marketing team.

As a Senior Illustrator, you will create high-quality marketing and ASO illustrations that elevate Kwalee’s visual identity and the impact of our game marketing. You will also mentor and guide junior and mid-level illustrators, combining strong artistic fundamentals, creative thinking, and AI integration to deliver compelling visual storytelling for campaigns.

This is a permanent role based in our Bangalore studio, where our daily in-office collaboration fuels creativity and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation of visually striking illustrations for marketing campaigns, ASO assets, and in-game materials.
• Supervise and mentor junior and mid-level illustrators, fostering growth, productivity, and consistency.
• Collaborate with Motion, Product, and Performance Marketing teams to align visuals with campaign goals.
• Translate creative briefs into impactful visual concepts with strong storytelling and composition.
• Integrate AI-powered tools and automation workflows to enhance creative efficiency and innovation.
• Conduct regular creative reviews and provide structured feedback to maintain artistic excellence.
• Research art trends, styles, and competitor marketing strategies to inform and improve outputs.
• Ensure timely delivery of illustration assets while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Manage the team’s workload and maintain organised asset libraries for future use.
• Support the Lead Illustrator with operational planning, reviews, and team coordination.

Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong foundation in anatomy, perspective, composition, and colour theory.
• Proven experience in game marketing and ASO asset creation.
• Strong sketching and storytelling skills from ideation to final artwork.
• Familiarity with AI tools and their integration into the creative process.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and feedback skills.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring and guiding other artists effectively.
• High attention to detail, creativity, and adaptability under tight deadlines.
• Based in our Bangalore office with 5 days per week on site.
