Job Description

This Assembler I role at Wabtec involves executing complex activities such as general uninstallation, washing, and assembly of parts, including tasks requiring torque control. Responsibilities extend to reading process instructions and drawings, using metrology equipment, and operating boiler machinery. The position also covers material management, from collection to dispatch, and inventory activities. Candidates should be prepared for precision mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic tasks, including alignment, balancing, and electronic component diagnosis. The role requires daily quality reporting, workplace organization, and adherence to EHS guidelines, with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Execution of cyclical and rotating inventory activities
  • Material Presentation
  • Forklift/Platform/Tugboat Operation
  • Analysis and control of material distribution for internal customers
  • Fill daily process and quality control reports as established by the Quality area
  • Organize and prepare the workplace according to the activity to be executed following the instructions of process and EHS guidelines
  • Contribute with ideas and execution of process improvement – Kaizen Program
  • Comply with integrity and Compliance guidelines, as well as the company's EHS standards and procedures
  • Ensure the conservation of stored material in adequate conditions avoiding deterioration and loss
  • Complete High School with Technical Improvement – mechanics, electrical, or pneumatics/piping
  • Minimum of six years of experience in the industrial area
  • SENAI Technical Training/Improvement: Mechanics, Electrical, or pneumatics/piping
  • 3 Technical Training or Improvement Certificates
