FICO is seeking a detail-oriented Asset Management Analyst to manage the lifecycle of hardware and software assets. This role involves interpreting and validating contracts, maintaining accurate asset data in ServiceNow, tracking renewals and license usage, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders for asset optimization, assist with vendor audits, and ensure ITAM governance policies are followed. Strong analytical skills and experience with ServiceNow are essential for this position.
Must have:

  • Ensure assets are acquired and managed per contractual obligations.
  • 3-5 years experience in IT Asset Management, Procurement, or Contract Analysis.

  • Hands-on experience managing IT assets within ServiceNow.
  • Proficient knowledge of software licensing models and asset management principles.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

The Opportunity

“We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Asset Management Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the lifecycle of hardware and software assets, interpreting and validating contracts and vendor quotes, and maintaining accurate asset data within our ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of IT asset management (ITAM) best practices, experience reviewing software and services agreements, and hands-on proficiency with ServiceNow.” – Business Operations-Director.

What You’ll Contribute

  • Review, interpret, and validate software and IT hardware contracts, quotes, and renewals to ensure alignment with internal standards and budget.
  • Maintain accurate asset and entitlement records, including ownership, cost, and usage data, in ServiceNow.
  • Track renewals, license usage, and support agreements; raise flags for noncompliance or overspending risks.
  • Ensure software and hardware assets are acquired and managed in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze asset utilization and recommend optimization or rationalization opportunities.
  • Assist with vendor audits and internal reporting by providing accurate and up-to-date asset data.
  • Ensure governance policies and processes for IT asset management (ITAM) are followed consistently.
  • Partner with IT operations and service desk teams to ensure accurate deployment and retirement of assets.

What We’re Seeking

  • 3–5 years of experience in IT Asset Management, Procurement, or Contract Analysis roles.
  • Strong experience interpreting legal language in contracts and vendor quotes.
  • Hands-on experience managing IT assets within ServiceNow (HAM, SAM modules preferred).
  • Proficient knowledge of software licensing models (e.g., perpetual, subscription, SaaS, consumption-based) and asset management principles.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally across teams.
