We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Financial Reporting professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager. This is an individual contributor role where you will take ownership of delivering accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with Ind-AS and Schedule III, driving process improvements, and providing meaningful financial insights to support decision-making.
Must have:
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in compliance with Ind-AS and Schedule III.
  • Lead monthly closure activities, including preparation of the monthly financial pack, variance analysis, and management reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Manage coordination with external auditors, addressing audit queries and ensuring timely audit closure.
  • Oversee direct & indirect tax compliance, submissions, tax modelling, tax returns, and tax accounting.
  • Conduct and review transfer pricing studies and evaluations across the Group.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including accounting, tax, and operations, as well as external consultants, to ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting.
  • Drive automation initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and build dashboards/metrics for key business performance indicators.
  • Strategize and implement accounting and financial policies/principles, tracking systems, and process improvements to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Translate financial analysis into actionable business recommendations for senior management.
Good to have:
  • Experience with a Big 4 or other top-tier accounting firm is preferred.
  • Exposure to NetSuite is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly closure activities, including preparation of the monthly financial pack, variance analysis, and management reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Manage coordination with external auditors, addressing audit queries and ensuring timely audit closure.

  • Conduct and review transfer pricing studies and evaluations across the Group.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of Ind-AS, Schedule III, and consolidated financial statement preparation.
  • Experience with a Big 4 or other top-tier accounting firm is preferred.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint; exposure to NetSuite is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
