The Assistant Marketing Manager - Merchant will be responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives for local lifestyle restaurant partners on GrabFood. The role involves managing sub-brands, creating marketing strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing data to evaluate campaign performance, and managing campaign execution and budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for food and project management skills. The position requires being based onsite at the Grab Bangkok Office.

  • Strong passion for food and identifying emerging trends.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate concepts into impactful campaign ideas.

The GrabFood Marketing team is a young and dynamic team responsible for driving business growth through Merchant's activity and consumer demand generation. We create impact by developing insightful marketing campaigns and deliver the best execution to the market. Get to Know the Role

You will report to the Marketing Head - Deliveries, and lead the planning, strategy and execution of marketing initiatives for our local lifestyle restaurant partners on GrabFood. While driving for our partner growths, you also ensure that the actions resonate with and delight end consumers. You will work with the key accounts & strategy team to ensure our marketing efforts align with company-wide objectives.

You will be based onsite at our Grab Bangkok Office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Manage & own sub-brands under GrabFood to unlock merchants potentials and drive for their growth through marketing initiatives
  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies and plans: Address key challenges, capture user insights, and unlock user demand with tailored-made proposals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with multiple stakeholders both internal and external parties to identify opportunity, develop tailored solutions and own the marketing executions
  • Embrace data-driven decision-making: Utilize data analysis tools to prepare insightful reports, evaluate campaign performance, and measure success.
  • Manage end-to-end campaign execution: Support the marketing team in developing to executing campaign plans, ensuring a smooth implementation and maximum impact.
  • Manage budget: ensure efficiency of the given spending

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the marketing field, brand management e.g. consumer marketing, tech marketing with exposure to online and offline media. Experience in business development is a plus.
  • Strong passion for food, keen ability to identify emerging food across diverse dining experiences, including casual dining, street food, hidden gems and fine dining.
  • Strong project management skills, and stakeholder management
  • Ability to initiate and translate concepts into innovative and impactful ideas for campaign execution
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly in both written and spoken English.
  • Loves the thrill of being in a fast-paced environment
