Job Description

As a Senior Performance Media Manager within PayPal’s B2B Merchant Marketing organization, you will play a critical role in driving customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth through highly optimized performance media campaigns. This role is ideal for a strategic and data-driven media expert with deep channel expertise in SEM, affiliate marketing, and programmatic advertising, along with strong cross-channel integration experience. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid performance campaigns that deliver measurable business impact across multiple global markets. Working closely with analytics, creative, and cross-functional marketing teams, you’ll ensure PayPal’s value propositions reach merchants at every stage of their journey.
Good To Have:
  • 5–8 years of experience in performance marketing, with proven expertise in SEM, affiliates, and programmatic channels.
  • Track record of managing multi-million-dollar budgets across performance channels and delivering measurable revenue growth.
  • Strong hands-on experience with major platforms (Google Ads, DV360, Trade Desk, affiliate networks, etc.).
  • Experience in B2B or financial services marketing preferred, with a global perspective.
  • Strong analytical mindset with advanced skills in campaign measurement, attribution, and optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting insights and recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, and collaborative environment.

  • Drive churn experimentation strategy, including ideation, testing, and customer experience evaluation.
  • Write experiment briefs, testing plans, and coordinate end-to-end implementation.
  • Monitor experiments post-launch, identify insights, and optimize in-flight results.
  • Manage budget reporting, including agency costs and incentive payouts, for all campaigns.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Own and optimize campaigns across SEM, affiliates, and programmatic channels.
  • Partner with agencies, networks, and platforms to maximize ROI.
  • Build and scale affiliate marketing programs.
  • Manage referral, rewards, and incentive-based partnerships.
  • Leverage automation, AI, and advanced bidding strategies.
  • Continuously test, analyze, and scale new performance media opportunities.
  • Partner with analytics teams to track, measure, and report on campaign performance.
  • Translate data into actionable insights and present findings to senior stakeholders.
