Job Description

As an Associate, Commercial Strategy & Operations at realworld one, you will work directly with the VP to drive growth, improve internal processes, and support client expansion in Life Sciences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives, streamline operations, and create impactful content. Responsibilities include streamlining workflows, designing scalable processes, developing client materials, analyzing data for insights, supporting project planning, and identifying operational gaps. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent communication abilities. This is an internship position within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

As an Associate, Commercial Strategy & Operations at realworld one, you will work directly with the VP of Commercial Strategy & Operations to drive growth, improve internal processes, and support client expansion across the Life Sciences industry.
 
You’ll further collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives, streamline operations, and create high-impact content that supports commercial success.

Responsibilities

    • Work cross-functionally with teams such as Client Strategy & Value Creation, Implementation, and Marketing to streamline workflows and align on operational goals.
    • Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable processes and procedures that improve commercial efficiency across teams.
    • Assist in the development of client-facing materials by creating templates, refining messaging, and supporting the communication of strategic value.
    • Analyze reports and commercial data to generate insights that inform client expansion strategies and strategic decision-making.
    • Support project planning, tracking, and reporting to ensure effective execution of commercial priorities.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying operational gaps and sharing insights that shape go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications

    • You are pursuing a master’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, marketing, or a related field, with a strong academic track record and outstanding achievements.
    • At least one completed internship at a tier-one consulting firm.
    • Prior experience in startups, scale-ups, or other fast-paced environments is a plus.
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and coordinate multiple tasks in a dynamic business environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative, resourceful approach to challenges.
    • Analytical mindset with confidence in working with data and drawing actionable insights.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel), with a strong eye for detail and professional presentation design.
    • Fluent in English; German is a plus.
