Job Description

The Associate Finance Specialist will be responsible for handling finance operations, including assisting with accounting functions, processing daily tasks like channel reconciliation and refund requests, and updating bank balances. They will also liaise with other departments on finance-related matters, ensure financial deadlines are met, and respond to inquiries from related parties. The role requires ensuring timely and accurate receipt of incoming payments from customers, as well as efficient management of resources and prioritization of tasks. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying process improvements to enhance work effectiveness and efficiency.
Must Have:
  • Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Software
  • 1+ years of experience in financial operations (AR/AP)
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Great communication skills and able to present complex issues in a simple and structured manner
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint)

Job Responsibilities :

To handle finance operation job scope
  • To assist finance operation accounting function
  • To proceed daily finance operation task such as channel reconciliation, monitor channel settlement, proceed refund request, update bank balance
  • To liaise with related departments on finance related matters such as discrepancy / dispute
  • To ensure all financial recon deadlines are met
  • Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues & counterparts
  • Any other assigned ad-hoc jobs as requested by superior
  • Ensure timely response to any enquiry email from related parties
  • Ensure timely and accurate incoming receipt from customer and payment according to agreed collection / payment terms.

    Pre-Requisites :

    Job Requirement:
     

    • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Software
    • Possess minimum 1 years’ working experience in financial operation Account Receivable / Account Payable.
    • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
    • Strategic thinking but also hands on and able to deep dive into details as required.
    • Great communication skills and able to present complex issues in a simple and structured manner.
    • Able to think and work systematically to identify and recommend process changes to improve work effectiveness and efficiencies, and controls.
    • Ability to work with tight time frames, assist in direct, supervise and coach subordinates, multi-task, manage resource usage efficiently and priorities task for timely completion
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products is a must (Excel, PowerPoint)
