We are seeking a dynamic Scrum Master / Associate Product Manager to join our team, supporting our US-based operations in delivering cutting-edge digital healthcare solutions. This role will facilitate agile processes, collaborate with US-based and India-based functional teams (development, QA, account management), and work closely with Product Managers to translate client and prospect expectations into actionable deliverables. You will ensure seamless coordination across global teams, driving agile excellence and supporting the product lifecycle in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Must have:
  • Lead and support Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to maintain and groom product backlogs, ensuring user stories are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for development.
  • Facilitate time zone–sensitive communication with U.S. counterparts; ensure follow-through on key discussions and action items.
  • Work closely with U.S.-based product managers, QA leads, developer leads, and account managers to ensure alignment on sprint priorities and deliverables.
  • Maintain clear documentation of sprint plans, team decisions, and issue logs to ensure process consistency.
  • Identify and escalate blockers to devops and product leadership; collaborate with teams to enable progress and resolve delivery risks.
  • Create and maintain information radiators (e.g., burndown charts, velocity reports) and sprint metrics to improve transparency and support product roadmap planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement by coaching teams on agile best practices, refining processes, and introducing tools/techniques to enhance team performance.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, coaching teams to meet sprint commitments and adapt processes through retrospectives and data-driven insights.
Good to have:
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification
  • Familiarity with healthcare or life sciences digital platforms

Responsibilities:

  • Agile Facilitation: Lead and support Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews, ensuring efficiency, engagement, and adherence to agile principles.
  • Backlog Management: Collaborate with Product Managers to maintain and groom product backlogs, ensuring user stories are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for development (maintaining 3-4 sprints of work).
  • Communication Bridge: Facilitate time zone–sensitive communication with U.S. counterparts; ensure follow-through on key discussions and action items.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with U.S.-based product managers, QA leads, developer leads, and account managers to ensure alignment on sprint priorities and deliverables.
  • Documentation & Transparency: Maintain clear documentation of sprint plans, team decisions, and issue logs to ensure process consistency.
  • Issue & Impediment Resolution: Identify and escalate blockers to devops and product leadership; collaborate with teams to enable progress and resolve delivery risks.
  • Metrics and Transparency: Create and maintain information radiators (e.g., burndown charts, velocity reports) and sprint metrics to improve transparency and support product roadmap planning.
  • Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement by coaching teams on agile best practices, refining processes, and introducing tools/techniques to enhance team performance.
  • Team Enablement: Foster a culture of accountability, coaching teams to meet sprint commitments and adapt processes through retrospectives and data-driven insights.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in an Agile project coordination or Scrum Master role, preferably in a product-based software development environment.
  • Agile Knowledge: Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum principles; experience with Scrum or Kanban
  • Tools Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and other collaboration tools (e.g., Miro, MS Teams, Slack).
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills; ability to work effectively with U.S.-based stakeholders.
  • Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Healthcare/Pharma Exposure: (Preferred but not required) Familiarity with healthcare or life sciences digital platforms is a plus.
