Join our team as an Associate Product Support Engineer focused exclusively on Hadoop distributed systems. In this customer-facing role, you will support enterprise clients by troubleshooting and resolving issues within Hadoop environments. You will work closely with experienced engineers, ensuring the stability and reliability of our customers’ Hadoop infrastructures. Key responsibilities include providing technical support for Hadoop clusters, troubleshooting and resolving problems related to Hadoop core components (HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Hive), performing basic administrative tasks such as installation, configuration, and upgrades of Hadoop clusters, collaborating with customers to understand their issues and deliver effective solutions, and documenting troubleshooting steps and solutions for knowledge sharing.
Good To Have:- Experience with Spark, NiFi, and HBase
- Exposure to data security and data engineering principles
- Prior customer-facing technical support experience
- Experience with Salesforce & Jira
- Experience with Python and Bash scripting
Must Have:- 3 years of hands-on experience as a Hadoop Administrator or similar role
- Strong understanding of Hadoop architecture and core components
- Proven experience troubleshooting Hadoop issues
- Proficiency in Linux operating systems
- Good communication skills with a customer-first mindset
- Excellent problem-solving skills
