Role Overview:
As an Associate Software Engineer – DevOps, you will be part of our engineering team supporting the deployment and maintenance of our containerized data analytics platforms. This role is ideal for freshers or early-career professionals who are eager to learn, grow, and build hands-on experience in cloud platforms, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines under guidance.
- Support cloud infrastructure setup and management (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Help with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes orchestration tasks.
- Write and maintain basic scripts in Shell or Python to automate routine tasks.
- Monitor applications and infrastructure using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Collaborate with senior DevOps engineers, developers, and QA teams to ensure smooth release cycles.
- Assist in implementing backup, disaster recovery, and security practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Fresher or up to 1 year of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes concepts.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Shell or Python.
- Exposure to CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Basic understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, SSL/TLS).
- Willingness to learn GitOps tools (ArgoCD, FluxCD) and monitoring/observability stacks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
