We are looking for a highly experienced and technically proficient System Architect to lead the design and integration of automotive software on Qualcomm-based platforms. This role will be pivotal in shaping next-generation in-vehicle infotainment (IVI), ADAS and SDV architectures, collaborating closely with ecosystem partners and internal SoC platform teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in embedded system software design, debugging, and performance analysis, with a deep understanding of SoC architecture and Linux kernel.
Must have:
  • Lead design and integration of automotive software on Qualcomm-based platforms.
  • Shape next-generation in-vehicle infotainment (IVI), ADAS and SDV architectures.
  • Collaborate closely with ecosystem partners and internal SoC platform teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience (or Master's 9+, PhD 8+).
  • 4+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python.
Good to have:
  • 15+ years of experience in embedded system software design, debugging, and performance analysis.
  • Deep understanding of SoC architecture, including CPU cores, peripherals, trade-offs in performance vs low-power design.
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux kernel, device drivers, and advanced troubleshooting with hypervisors.
  • In-depth knowledge of power and memory management, performance tuning, latency optimization.
  • Working knowledge of operating systems and hypervisors: Linux, QNX, and other RTOSs.
  • Understanding of secure and safe automotive software architecture, including safety subsystems and monitors.
  • Exposure to automotive software development standards: ASPICE, ISO26262, ISO21434.
  • Experience working with Automotive Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs.
  • Experience in commercializing automotive hardware/software platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical issues and report on project status.
  • Ability to guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 10+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 9+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

  • 4+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in embedded system software design, debugging, and performance analysis.
  • A deep understanding of SoC architecture, including CPU cores, peripherals, trade-offs in performance vs low-power design
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux kernel, device drivers, and advanced troubleshooting with hypervisors
  • In-depth knowledge of power and memory management, performance tuning, latency optimization.
